East Pointe Place is one component of the multi-property redevelopment plan implemented by Pinnacle as the development partner of the Housing Authority of the City of Fort Myers. The 86 units in East Pointe Place replaced the obsolete 100 unit Palmetto Court public housing complex. The development offers project-based operating subsidy under both the public housing program and the Section 8 program, a rare feat accomplished through delicate financial engineering among Pinnacle, HACFM and HUD. The development contains the state-of-the-art improvements and amenities that Pinnacle and HACFM are known for, including solar water heating and a LEED Platinum certification.
