Art in Public Places

At Pinnacle, we are passionate champions of Miami’s Arts in Public Places initiative. We deeply understand the power of art to uplift spirits, spark meaningful connections, and transform neighborhoods into vibrant, inspiring spaces. That’s why Pinnacle collaborates with talented local artists to bring captivating murals, sculptures, and other installations to the public spaces of our developments across Florida.

Over the years, we’ve seen firsthand how art cultivates belonging, ignites conversation, and nurtures creativity within communities. We believe art is integral to nurturing thriving neighborhoods full of life and character. Our eye-catching murals, sculptures, and architectural designs reflect our commitment to people-centric spaces, and bring inspiration to all who experience them.

Our Arts in Public Places program has brought over $2 million of art to local communities, funded passionately by investments from Pinnacle’s partners. We love collaborating with creative talents to keep imagination thriving across Miami’s neighborhoods. Our art installations spark joy daily for residents and visitors alike. As we continue expanding our developments, we look forward to uplifting more communities through the power of art.

Drawing on the creative power of well-known and respected local artists and architects, we infuse our communities with an unexpectedly lighter, happier feeling through our Arts in Public Places initiative. By doing so, we are creating a sense of place and purpose that is different from anything our residents have experienced.

In this video, check out the artistic journey of our property Los Sueños. One of the most prominent murals at Los Sueños is dedicated to the community and families who lost loved ones in the Surfside Tragedy in 2021. Los Sueños translates to “The Dreams,” and these murals are the dreams of a city through the eyes of our artists.

Thus, when children play in Pinnacle View’s playground behind the parking garage, they do not look at a bare concrete wall. Instead, they see a colorful and multi-cultural mural that reflects the international migrations that have shaped Miami. At Pinnacle Lakes, a formerly run-down apartment complex, a mural encourages children to play and be inspired. At Rayos del Sol in the heart of Little Havana, butterflies wing their way up the outside walls, adding whimsy and color to the community.

All of our communities are distinctively designed to create an atmosphere that welcomes our residents home. Peaked roofs, stone work, pastel paints and subtle accents combine to create a comfortable atmosphere for our residents. By creating a sense of place and community, there also is an appreciative and more caring attitude by many of our residents that is reflected in lower maintenance costs and more respect for the place they call home.
